Some clients send links to websites they like, others send written notes, whilst others prefer to talk through their ideas. We can capture what we need through a quick phone chat or Zoom, or simply via an email.
What if it’s not quite right first time around?
We always send a polished draft for you to take a look at. Most of the time, clients are happy with this initial copy, but there may be the odd tweak or rewrite. We offer the first two rewrites at no extra cost, but after that there will be an added fee.
Depending on our writers’ schedule, this is often possible. Depending on workload, very tight deadlines can sometimes be met, and will incur an extra fee.
Our editors love to look at manuscripts at all stage of their development, whether complete or works-in-progress. Often, writers ask for feedback on just the opening three chapters, as that is what agents commonly ask for.
Or you might want ideas on where to take the book next – how to develop characters, xx and themes. Our editors are traditionally published authors who have been there. They are experienced mentors who love to help.
